The size of the maps varies from small maps, for quick combats, to large maps and, depending on the amount of RAM available, to huge maps, for very long combats, as evidenced by the fact that the game statistics can be displayed on a 50-hour scale. The game also offers the possibility to play on semi-randomly generated maps (based on a 16 number key). Battles are fought one by one by the little soldiers and a victory means the loss of all surrounding buildings. To finally win the level, you must defeat your opponents. Huts and watchtowers are built to expand your territory, sometimes at the expense of the enemy's land (a clever play is to target an area where your opponent has a crucial building, thus compromising his production). Food has to be produced (either fish, bread (which requires a mill, a farmer and a baker) or pork (which requires a farmer and a butcher, as well as the grain farm) to feed the people working in the mines to produce the iron, coal and gold (as well as additional stones). Each building requires a certain amount of wood (and stones for some of them) to be constructed and requires particular resources to perform its function successfully. The gameplay focuses on resource management. Your village competes for supremacy with up to 3 others. At the beginning of the level you choose a starting point, with the intention of getting plenty of flat land, as well as resources for mining and, ideally, existing sources of trees, stones and water (for fish).

A strategy game with cartoonish graphics and an innocent line of humor.
